La Peña Station

The newly created La Peña Station is part of the Bilbao-Orduña Cercanías line C3, making it possible to get to Abando in less than four minutes, where there are easy connections to the rest of the public transport systems (Metro, Renfe Cercanías, Tram, Renfe Feve and buses). Indeed, the opening of this station led to the full integration of this traditional Bilbao neighbourhood into the metropolitan transport network.

The work on the station also involved the redevelopment of the adjacent area and the creation of a new square. In addition, various landscape regeneration works were carried out to improve the visual aspect of the hillside on which the station is located.
